A portrait of Annatar - Sauron's fair shape which he used to deceive the elves to making the rings.
Okay, maybe I should've made the robes more grandiose? I dunno.
Edit: I just had to fix that robe. It didn't look right. XD

Wow. It's perfect. Utterly brilliant. Stupendous. His expressionΒ is perfect. Those eyes - pure evil. Yet he still looks wise. This is quite truthfully the best and my favorite picture of Sauron. And this could be the form he took in Numenor as well.Β
And I like his robes as well, and the dark background. Perfect, perfect, perfect!Β

Brilliant! I really love how you captured him - so young, innocent, and fair-seeming, but that posture and expression put the perfect sinister touchΒ to him. I love the design work of the gold embroidery on his clothes, too, especially on his collar. And I like how the gold band hints at the One Ring's design. Amazing work. Love it! Β

Sauron is misunderstood; he sought to create perfection on Arda. How dare these feeble Children of Illuvatar defy him? He was of the Ainur, and Arda was his due. He offered them a chance to submit peacefully with the gift of the Rings of Power, yet they spurned him and chose war instead. They fought for their pathetic ideals of 'freedom', never knowing that with their acts they sowed chaos in their wake.
And so they must be crushed until they submit their wills to the rightful Lord of All. It is the only way to recreate the paradise that was lost; a world of order, a world of harmony, a world of perfection.
I do love rationalising things from the so called 'evil' side; one man's good is another man's evil. People need more than one point of view you know
