Sometimes I wish knowledgeWere fresh water from a spring
I wish I could fill a cup with it
And drink until it quenched my thirst
Sometimes I wish it all were food
Fresh veggies, meats and fruits
I wish I could fill a plate with it all
And eat until my belly burst
I'd consume every edible event
Every morsel of data, every bit of it
Each bite I'd know more
Each sip would enlighten me
I live with an unquenchable thirst
I live with an insatiable appetite
One day I hope to be filled
Until then I can only prepare the plate
