In the beginning I didn't archive the sketches or the artworks changes, but I have understand that are very useful, in fact Koi had many steps ^.^
For the deadline my worst fear is that I refine and refine the artwork until the last, it's maniacal, I know u.u'
I see many artist upload their works and after they retouch and update again; I can't do it >.<

OMG I just did that for the pacific rim contest XD
I submitted the piece two hours before the deadline so already cutting it close... then updated it 5 times with retouches stopping only ten minutes before the countdown ended and ONLY because I needed to get something
When it's a normal piece I stop myself but when there's a deadline I keep thinking and rethinking of ways to improve the piece until the very last minute.... I think there's something wrong with my psyche
You should turn it into a time lapse video. watching those is always relaxing for me though I have no idea if that's hard to edit on the artist's side =/
