Snow White!
Our first challenge will be about SNOW WHITE!
This is what you will have to do:
Your artwork must contain a model dressed like Snow White!Promoted by:
I was always fascinated to the dark side of fairytales.
In origin the Snow White story was very different from the Disney's version.
In the end, for example, the dark queen was imprisoned and tortured.
In this concept I have insert a "what if": if Snow White had not accept the poisoned apple and had killed the queen?
Maybe the story who we know would be a little different...

Dark, sinister and absolutely stunning!
I prefer the more gruesome versions of fairy tales and you've created a wonderful piece here that honours the mood of the original folk stories.
Have you ever seen Snow White in the Black Forest? It's a 1997 American dark fantasy movie with a tiny bit of horror, starring Sigourney Weaver. Maybe not the best movie ever made but I just loved the unsettling atmosphere and lack of happy singing wood animals. (^_^)

Actually there is this tendence to rewrite and re-interpretate the fairy tales, when I was child I loved DIsney, but now I prefer much more the original versions, especially if they gothic and dark :3
I think that I seen that film; I'm sure that is better than the last version of Cinderella -_-

I grew up watching all the Disney movies and loving them to bits, and I honestly still do. But the originals don’t feel so polished and clean cut as Disney preferred them to be.
Funny thing is that when talking about fairy tales there’s no such thing as ‘the original’, not really. Before they were collected and written down, these stories were passed on orally over generations.
Through time and depending on the region fairy tales were always changing, being ‘rewritten’ and adapted.
You mention Cinderella (I missed that movie apparently ) and immediately I think of the different versions I’ve read. Needless to say there was much more blood than Disney would’ve liked...

Yay! Disney's studio starting now to create some movies with delicate themes or with characters out of the scheme, but for me they are also too much politically correct; I such prefer anime and manga
