Now serious issue - your Photo.
Definitely you master the black and white Fine Art Photography.
The mist adds a mysterious mood to an excellent composition.
In this composition you "take advantage" of the dark silhouettes of the ground and the big tree to "frame" the whole. By doing this you draw the eye of the viewer to the empty "portion" of the photo and the freedom to the imagery is accomplished.
There is no small or tall tree here - there is the perspective look and with that your capture is not a flat one !
