This photograph shows great use of detail, especially through the use of articulation in color and contrast. The clever use of color technique with the gold on blue paint presents creative expression and originality. Although the focus could have been brought more to the face by cropping some of the extra space in the photograph, there is a well used balance of shadow versus light in this picture. The artist did well to highlight the distinct expression and vividness of the paint on the model’s skin by demonstrating excellent understanding of lighting. Over-all, a high quality and multifarious presentation of photography.
