This is my first oil painting. The real thing is actually darker then this, but the way the light hit it distorted the colors. It's actually a picture of my little sister. And though the dementions aren't really correct and it looks odd. For someone like me who's true weakness in art is painting I actually thought I did good for my first time XDDone in my art class for Art 3's oil painting assignment.
It was sketched out with colored pencil then colored in oil paints.
It sits right above my bed. ALSO do to the light you can see the canvas right through the paint. That's what all those little....like dot looking things are. XD Thier actually the texture of the canvas getting through thanks to the light. =3= Stupid light

Thank you XD TTATT But It really was horrible! When I came to Ohio and started school up again I walked into art and i'm like "8D What we doing?"
Art teacher: "We're doing an oil painting"
Me: D8 A WHAT?!!! <--- Art skills: 85% Drawing ability 14% Everything else 1% Painting ability

XD I had never painted with anything other then the you know, painting clay, or the finger paints when I was little D8 I thought I was screwed!!!

yea, seeing paintings and stuff in person is usually better looking than when you scan or take a picture of it :/
