I still feel bad for those who Romanced Thane (especially after their Cure for Thane Project) but I admit Bioware handle those who Romanced Jacob was handel Poorly I just thought it was only on the ones who didn't but nope those who did lost him too & I felt that was a pretty big WTF (among other things in Mass Effect 3 COUGHendingCOUGH)

Bioware could have made the dialouge a little different, like have Jacob go to Brynn if she wanted to drop the romance.
On the other hand, 20 percent of players are female Shepard. I'm going to say (counts romantic options by mass effect 2 and rounds up)...maybe 5 percent of them romanced Jacob? So, the other 95 percent of people would be happy for Jacob having a baby. I was, but that was because Jacob was mah bro. But, I can understand.
Or, think of it this way: Get them to divorce later, and get Brynn's doctor biotic baby.

To be fair, Jacob was as interesting as a cardboard cutout in ME2. Garrus was just the better choice since he was both badass AND adorkable, sometimes at the same time.

I thought Jack was okay, if a bit clichΓ©. Miranda's a walking, arrogant ass (Emphasis on the ass XD ). I thought Joker was great, Kelly was meh, Chakwas was boring, and the rest of the crew are really there as background pieces.
Also I know he's not a crew member but I just have to say it. Anderson: Shepard! Defend that burguertown from the reapers! Oscar mike!

hahahaha YES! I love Anderson and Joker. They are my favorite humans. I guess I was thinking more about the romance ones, like Kaiden and jacob were just so meh to me. But I loved Jack in ME3, a lot more than in 2. She was ok in 2, I agree. It was good to see her mature in the third one. And oh that ass Miranda

Yeah, I liked Jacob all right, but he also had a tendency to annoy me sometimes.
And I wouldn't worry about it; you wouldn't believe how many guy gamers I've heard admit to having a huge man-crush on Garrus hahaha

I didn't feel he was annoying, just... bland. I can remember defining traits and conflicts about most companions and teammates in ME1 and ME2. Ash just had to prove she was good and tough enough to herself because of her grandfather's surrender in the first contact war. Mordin desperately clung to rationalizations trying to justify the genophage, so he was a "bottom line" kind of Salarian. Jack, well, I'm not even going there.
But Jacob just felt like "Generic soldier guy" to me. And not even very good at that. Maybe I just didn't give him time to grow on me, but I just didn't find him all that interesting.

It didn't help that he didn't have any awesome skills/powers. Like why bring Jacob if I could bring a better biotic like Jack or Miranda? Hell, even Thane had Warp.

You know it's true. And I was being generous giving Jacob 48 hours. It was probably more like five minutes.
And Shepard defiantly should conspire with Miranda. The only thing worse than having a revenge fueled ex with Spectre status, is having said ex conspire with another ex.

Yeah, this only adds to the number of reasons why not to romance Jacob 
I did this level today. I found it bizzare how they just tossed in a new character for him to be with... I guess the moral of ME3 is, pick someone from the first game's squad or settle for the new options... but in its defense, Traynor I actually kinda like, same goes for Kelly, as both get legitimate romance subplots in ME3. Same goes for Cortez.
