This is awesome! I've never seen a red dragonfly before. I love how the foreground and background are differentiated from each other. It really puts the focus on the dragonfly so there are no distractions.

Did you blur the background somehow? I take macro photos from time to time but the background never is so perfectly blury and there are far too many colours not like on your one ( If you cnt answe I'll understand)

that happens sometimes when photographers have an specific subject for their pictures, most of the times when it is macro shots, it means they have to focus an small object which means the background gets out of focus most of the times

No, I haven't.
My background is so sharp because I've used an open f/number and a very good lens for macro.
