When I was a child (which was decades ago), I always dreamed of being a mermaid. I absolutely loved the water and wished I lived on the coast. I would have had hair like that!! I love the quote.

yes i absolutely adore mermaids! they are so beautiful, and the ocean is such a vast mysterious place, what an amazing life it would be to live there

Have you ever heard of the mermaids of weeki wachee springs state park ? It is in florida and my family visited years ago. The spring is crystal clear and they have a theater with windows looking out underwater. It is kind of corny but they have been presenting these shows since 1947.
