Description In Israel's land, a tale is told,
Of Micah, whose heart was bold.
He crafted idols, gods of gold,
A practice that was brash and bold.
He made a shrine, a sacred place,
And sought a Levite to embrace.
To serve as priest, with wealth and grace,
He hoped to earn God's favor's trace.
The Levite came, and took the role,
Idols made, and gained control.
Micah thought his luck was bright,
With idols to guide him right.
But in those days, God's law was clear,
Idol worship, God did fear.
The Levite's deeds were not sincere,
And Micah's hope began to sear.
A cautionary tale, indeed,
Of misplaced faith and wrongful creed.
For idols false, though shiny bright,
Lead to darkness, away from light.
In Judges 17, we find,
A warning to keep in mind.
To worship God with heart and soul,
And let Him alone have control.
