Description

Bloodmad Vampire, painted for Shadows over Innistrad. This piece was one of the cases where I felt like I was losing my mind completely, and then it suddenly came together without warning. Art really is an emotional rollercoaster. Which is ironic because in the end what you're creating is really just a commodity which most people probably won't give a second look, with no need to get so worked up about it. But it does matter to me and if you have to pursue something in life that also doubles as work you might as well make it something you're passionate about. I guess most of us feel like that about our work? Because if I'm the only one who's emotionally drained after doing some brushstrokes on a computer I'd sure as hell like to know what you guys are doing differently.

This composition looks really difficult to pull off and it reads so well
This really stood out from the rest of this set

You make me want to try much harder with my work! Also struggling with similar things

SchΓΆn, wenn du was gefunden hast, wo du dein Herzblut einbringen kannst. Auch wenn sowas immer wieder Mut braucht, das GlΓΌck haben nicht viele!

You did a good job at the blood spatter, as the remenance is not hers, from the victom's I beleave.

The smear from the struggle and the last gasp hand print, with the flowing, on her right arm, and the finger streek's on her left.

I have no idea where this came from, just the remarkable true Ness of the color and refraction from the light sours.

The costume looks like it would be uncomftorbal.

Is there's something missing, wheres one hand or a subdued shape from the remenance.

Did I miss it?

There could be a figure in the background replacing that tree, on the upper left, as I thought you already did, it's just a misshapen tree, with a hint of eyes as leaves.

Thats the only trouble with a picture that can tell a thousand words, you need to inspire thousands of words without leaving questions.

Very well done, and for all my sugestions it is always the artists choice, I leave it up to you, as you have completed this piece.

I think I missed your signiture, date, and series number, to make it officially done.

I asked my father, the Doctor of art education. When do you know your work is done?

When you put your name on it.

Have fun every day, and don't mind the little things, unless your creating them.

I'm only remark about the work not, the feelings it brings to light, but I've written enough about it already, and I've been away for a while, I need to talk with my friends here, I hope you understand.

This say Magic the Gathering and Shadows over Innistrad, but it looks like she is one a tank which isn't in that universe. That being said, this is an amazing piece and should be on a card.Β

It's a beautiful piece, great job!! :3 And well said, I assure you you're not the only one who feels like that haha as an artist I do tend to look more closely at other people's artwork, but I know that most people usually only give art a quick glance and so they don't really see all the details/ amount of work that went into it. But you're right-! That doesn't take away from the art itself or the process. <333
