Victor Frankenstein and The Creature, for Mizamour . I based my designs off of Bernie Wrightson’s amazing work. Miz asked for a happy scene with Victor being a proper father. What could’ve been, eh? ;u;

I was all set to do an older, nerd-tastic character design for Victor. But Wrightson was really spot on. Age wise, Victor dropped out of college to pursue reanimation. And making him look like a windswept, Byronic hero isn’t too big a stretch. After all, Victor is partially based off Mary’s lover-turned husband, heartthrob Percy Bysshe Shelly, and they were hanging out with Lord Byron (i.e., the one from whom the word “Byronic” derives) when she wrote the initial story.
So I guess I’ll have to wait until next time to draw old men scientists. At least I got to draw a nice nose.
