The things I love the most about this show are the music and the action scenes (specially the fights)

I started watching this series because a friend of mine recommended me to watch, because he knows how much I like to see animes of heroines and this anime “like” series is not the exception. RWBY is a series about four teenage girls who attend the same college "Beacon Academy" with the sole purpose to become huntresses with the mission of fighting monsters known as Grimm. The Team RWBY is conformed by: Ruby Rose (the youngest member of the team, the leader and the main character of this series, who is inspired from Little Red Riding Hood) who wants to turn the world into a better place and has a unique ability with her silver eyes that allowed her to petrify Grimms, Weiss Schnee (the cold, intelligent, rich and a little show off girl, who has a beautiful voice and is inspired upon Snow White) hates being seen as a princess and has a hard time taking Ruby seriously, Blake Belladonna (the silent one, who has a mysterious past and remains distant from her teammates and is inspired upon Belle from Beauty and The Beast) who is really a Cat faunus and wants faunus to be treated just like humans to have the same rights and for her kind to find peace and Yang Xiao Long (the tomboyish, strongest, tough headed member of the team and inspired upon Goldilocks) who is Ruby's older sister, has a tough relationship with her mother and always charge first into action using her wits, her strenght and her fists. Well, I have to admit that this series didn't get my attention at first because I thought: "Oh! four girls who attend school and fight monsters. Goodie" When I was watching the first two volumes, I was entertained and thought this series had a light tone and was a kid friendly show, but when I got to watch the half and the end of volume 3, I thought: "Oh, holy cow! this just dark and I wasn't anticipating this" And just like that, this show totally got my attention and I like how the series get darker and darker with each volume passing and I just can't wait to see what's going to happen to the main heroines in volume 9. Things are getting really dark and hope seems lost, and I'm getting excited and at the same time I'm worried of what is going to happen because I definitely don't want Salem to win this fight.
