It was something I did years ago. I was inspired by a fanfic(that has long since been abandoned) that was a crossover of Naruto and Okami. I guess I wanted to go for the foxy approach, though that was not the intent.

Thanks! I really like the dark tones you've given to the Avatar story, so If anything, I should be thanking YOU. I appreciate it all the same. I would be cranking out better ones, but.... My other laptop broke. The one with Photoshop. Meanwhile I'm on this old one on its last legs and enjoying fanfiction while I can... I hope when I get a new one, your update will be one of the first I read!
