I really like all of your Watercolor paintings. The Colors you use are beautiful and i gave you full points for the perfect technique, its awsome considering how hard it is to handle watercolor.
Vision: its just very nice to look at, as i said the colors and all. The way you draw the eyes in so much detail and the rest more watercolor-like, its amazing
Originality: the things you did around the faces (not just in this piece) are original, but i gave some minus points because of the color which runs down the painting. personally i just think thats a little overused.
Impact: Sorry but just two Stars. Its just my opinion, but i have the constant feeling in almost all your Watercolor paintings, that it misses something. The faces are too plain, in an emotional way. They lack of expression and dynamic.
The way you paint is very expressiv thought, but the faces arent, at least thats my opinion. The faces are all very good drawn, as i said, your technique is flawless, but the emotions just don't reach me. How can i say it, it doesn't touch me?

Sorry about my bad english, and no I couldn't paint it better, but that doesn't mean that i can't express what feels right and wrong for me in a picture, so i hope you don't feel offended. Your art is still very beautiful! And its just my opinion, who i am to critique you, right? e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Wink)"/>

First, I just wanted to say that I love this picture. I like the mixture of colours with the blues, purples and pink. They really catch your attention. I loved how you defined the eyes with the black pen, they really stand out from the rest of the painting.
Personally, I know how difficult watercolour is and I love how you were able to define the edges of her face without having the full edge.
Overall, I think you did a great job! Definatly one of my favorite watercolour paintings I have seen in a while!
Good Luck with any future projects!

You did a wonderful job with originality. I think this painting is very inspiring. I also LOVE the colors you used. I think they are very pretty and go along with the theme well. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Wink)"/>
Very great job with the eyes too. They look very realistic and life-like.
The paint splatters are very unique, especially with the pink, purple, and blue. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/> The thing that really grabs my attention, is her face. Her beautiful, beautiful, BEAUTIFUL face. Like her eyes, it too, looks realistic.
Keep up the good work e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/> And hope to see more of your wonderful, inspiring artwork in the future.

For a watercolour piece this artwork is so beautifully done, from the vibrant combination of colours and textures to the overall balance of the painting.
I love that while she is painted with such a difficult medium, you can still see her face pop with definition, shadows, and even the highlight along the left side of her face.
The drips that trail down the artwork fill the white space and create a good balance, while the many other drips that trail out around her face maintain the viewer's interest and definitely lend to the title of the piece.
I love the way you topped off the piece by defining the important details with pen - her eyes are so piercing and draw you right in.
I've never painted watercolour myself but I can definitely appreciate the difficulty of the medium and how amazing this artwork is.

Yet another beautiful piece! As always your unique style shines through, the colors pop, and your technique is simply beautiful. I love the eyes, there is a strong emotion that is shown through these eyes. The white background really strengthens the piece and gives it an almost three dimensional feel to it, it seems to jump out of the page! Your shading amazes me, you show dark and light spots beautifully. From the pieces you continue to show, it is clear that you are creative and strong artist, I love that you have established a style all your own. Keep it up! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/> e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h… " width="38" height="15" alt="" title="Hug"/>

Hi Agnes, two weeks ago I saw this commercial image for a Trust drawing tablet on a Belgian website. I thought I recognized the watercolour art and it appears it was yours. I shared this with you because I wondered whether they asked you permission or not.

Kind regards,

elysabet
