My mother tongue's italian, though if you don't mind I'd see english as more appropriate. The critics received so far are fair indeed (and I favourited this work and moved its printed version to my wishlist instantly), but the humongous impact, I think, may easily impair judgement here, since it pierces sharply heart and mind and body almost, deprivation discharged on the viewers shoulder.
Closeness, and its COST, as thoughts and aspirations, inner meanings disassemble as the *center and the sides, in despair, could not even dare to ever live: one or the other.
The above is what you smack, in my opinion, on our face and as I said: the impact is humongous and five stars are not enough as well as vision, meant as your conceptual precision in manifesting abnegation, as you've titled it.
Still: I am no good executor, no good artist, I state this clearly; I am not even closely near to be allowed to dream to match your skill.
Still, deconstruction, although applied with wits through dripping colours is a concept seen, and seen, and seen, and seen.
At the same time I would praise the colour harmony in the contrast, perception brought down in the chromatic melange flowing towards the bottom as if their tears are shed not only by the characters but by the world itself as whole.
Expressionism is in the corner, Munch is blinking.
On second hand centralization on the contact, good anatomy in spite of surrealism
colours smoothly interrupting at the "higher spheres" of consciousness where abnegation becomess solely utter darkness.
Man, you are good, I honestly bow towards you. I love this work.
But its emotional impact must NOT influence too much.
It is correct to read with the heart, but in critique, the heart must be contained.
Else, I would have put 200 stars everywhere.
I hope to have made some sense.
Congratulations, again.
Yours,
Argento

I am speechless. When I look at this piece, I feel so many emotions flood over me, and it's so indescribable. This piece is so detailed, from the contrast, to the anatomy. Watching the speed paint of this work really brings you into the mindset of the artist, showing their techniques, the style, and most importantly, the way they think.
The contrast of the light, shadow, the vivid color, and bold and lighter colors make this painting so visually appealing. The dripping of the water colors draws the eyes all over the painting.
Personally, when I see this painting, my mind wanders to Eridan and Ferferi from Homestuck, which are two very colorful and unique characters on their own.

When I see this, I can feel as if an increasing tension was being relieved, the tears can show the suffering, but their expression at the same time communicate tranquility. There is an interesting contrast, between the colors and the meaning of this work. The title, la "la nostra infinita abnegazione" (our infinite abnegation) says a lot, a mutual intense feeling, that is displayed as a kinesthetic image.
The composition enhances the visual experience, all the energy flowing with such movement and strength from the center, together with the tears, everything else flies away, everything that was accumulating letting only that relief that can be seen in their expression.
unbelievable work, totally non-conventional, absolutely communicative and aesthetic.

Again, as with your other piece that you posted a video of, it might just be your choice of music, but I can't help but imagine a story when I see your art.
With this, similiar to the other one, I get the sence that these people are being consumed by something and can do nothing to stop it. But they have each other. The man looks as if he trying to remain strong and not show fear, while the woman leans to him as if it is their last moment together. The dripping paint makes me think of tears, while the pen strokes imply breaking pieces. I get the feeling that whatever is consuming them has almost taken them, but is not there yet and that is why their faces are relatively bare.
Along with this since that there is nothing that can be done to stop their fate, I feel a sence of panic almost. The only way I can think to describe it is as if you were trapped in a room with no exits and water was slowing rising. Panic, but also acceptance that this is what will happen because there is nothing that can be does about it.
This probably isn't what you had in mind at all when you created this beautiful piece, but it's what I think when I see it.

thank you, beautiful critique.
No, there wasn't a room with no exits and water, but the feeling is quite right.
They are being consumed by abnegation, by self-sacrifice.. but curiously, the situation is just the same. (:
thanks again, your thought is very close to what I had in mind.

When I first saw this piece, it was as a speed painting on YouTube. I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing. The colors unravel on the pages, the faces, coming to life.
They are filled with such intense feelings. When I look at this, I feel as though, They are in pain. The paint drippings almost give it a sense of sadness, but you can see the romance within it as well.
I stared at this piece for quite awhile. I've also watched the speed paint a few times too.
Just watch it you can see the amazing-ness just open itself onto the page.
She makes it look easy, but the way that she pushes her out her art, is something quite incredible and unique. I've never seen this style before, and I'm glad. It's fresh.. and new to my mind, and my mind is absorbing every square inch of the painting.
It makes my brain scream "Wow! Amazing! Fantastic! More!"
Please continue what you are doing. Please! continue to do what you love, and as far as I can see, it is this. Art, Painting.
It is quite the master piece as I know everyone can agree on.
Thank you for allowing such a fantastic piece to be shared. Not only here, but on YouTube were we can experience you making the painting.
If you haven't watched it already, please be sure to! It is quite a site to see, and it will awe you just as much as this, amazing, final product has.
Please make more! I can't wait to see!
I hope that my critique is a fine one, this is the first that I have done, and I'm glad that I was able to choose this piece as my first critique.
So many things I want and need to say about this painting, but I'm not sure that my words alone can sum it up. So listen to your watchers, your fans, and let them tell you in bits and pieces just how magnificent you work is.

The youtube speed painting was where I first saw this. I, later, had to look up the meaning of abnegation. My heart broke while watching the video, not know the meaning yet. The painting tells itself. The emotion in every brush stroke and paint drip. After looking up the word, I identified even more with the painting. I feel like you put on paper the pain in my heart. It is beyond words. If your paintings are not yet, one day they will be in museums where people will break into tears upon viewing, just like the Mona Lisa and The David.
