Description
Though the title could be the title of a story, but in this case it refers to these two plants: threadleaf croowfoot (Ranunculus trichophyllus) and small mousetail (Myosurus minimus). The former is originally an aquatic plant, but can survive if its habitat dries out, taking on the form seen on the photo.
