this image is my favorite of the work you have up. you have a great collection of portraits, but expression is particularly nice in this one. and its the expression that makes this one stand out from the rest in my opinion.. it feels the most alive. i think it would be cool to see you work more with wet media with the pastels. wet media creates uncontrolable imperfections. imperfections can make images more alive (I think anyway). but really nice work. i really enjoy pastel.

You've captured the shading brilliantly, however the way her eyes look towards her right kinda give the illusion that she is twisting her head right even though she is not. She must have quite strong mouth muscles if she can keep her mouth open for such an extended period of time. Nevertheless, the facial features are excellent and you've shown your great skill with this drawing.
