Here are the inks all done. my brush was really giving me a hard time on this one. this is the last piece i will be using it for. time for a new one for sure. i am gonna try out the pentel pocket brush pen next. heard alot of good things about it. i tried to use my quill also on this to get a little different texture but this bristol i am using right now sucks and the lines started to splatter so that only lasted about 5 minutes. had to resort to some pitt pens and micron action towards the end cause my brush was just fadin' fast on me. i am not a big fan of microns cause when you erase the pencils the lines fade. and pitt pins are good but the fine tip one is not fine enough. i haven't seen an extra fine tip yet...anyway. there you have it. inks.in case you missed the pencils, they are here... Astounding work man, seriously! It seems as though you could have added Suki to get the full team Avatar theme going but I love what you did and I have to say that I am very envious of your skill with drawing the ater. I've tried to do water but it is one of those ever elusive elements that I just can't grasp. Other than that, your forshortending with Zuko's hand is flawlless. I think you may have over done his left hand but that is probably because I am looking at this drawing with a corrective eye. Bottom line though: terrific work! I look forward to whatever else you come up with!!

thank you very much for the kind words. i appreciate it very much. i should have drawn suki. i didn't even think of her. in my defense this is geared toward the third season when zuko was a part of the team as well. but i should have added her. that pisses me off. oh well, guess i will just have to do another one.

I really like this one, the exaggerations on size/distance are pretty big but interesting.
I find it a little distracting on Ang's left foot though, because at first glance it seemed like it was all foot showing past the pant leg (because the pant leg area is angled away from the viewer, so my eye assumed the rest of the calf would be hidden behind the bell-like-end of his pants). But then I realized it was his calf and foot showing. In that regard, his lower leg seems to be broken, bent at quite a severe angle. The upper portion of calf (pant leg) seems to be heading in a very different direction than the lower (bare) portion of the calf. Does that make sense? Everywhere else sizes might change a lot, but angles still seem right. But Ang's left leg seems out of whack.
That being said, do you have a general policy on your lineart being printed and colored by others for fun? I am finding that I like a lot of your linearts and a lot of them would also make great coloring pages.

As far as coloring my lines I am ok with people coloring it for fun or practice. If you end up posting it, please let me know because I would love to see it. And just credit where credit is due of course.

Cool, sounds good. When you do get around to it check back and see if I updated the piece. I have been meaning to color it myself and wanted to change a couple things with the drawing. So if you want to just see if its been updated to make sure you have the good one.

i know. there is a statue of her in the leaks so i assume she will be dead. but here daughter will be in it alot so that is kinda cool. but, toph taught all the swat teams metal bending so she lives on in spirit. plus we will get flashbacks of the old crew which will be super cool.

yeah, you're right! Oh and speaking of flashbacks, I heard Dante Basco(Zuko) will be voicing someone in Korra! ppl have said it'll either be a new character or a flashback of Zuko.

i think it will be zuko. they will be doing flashbacks (which is gonna be great) so i am sure it will be him. but, you never know. did you see the new korra stuff recently? pretty great. new trailer and cool stuff over on bryan k's new tumblr. and the korra nation stuff. getting very close i think

wow!!! great job!! love how you handled this piece. everything is very well rendered. i especially love the effects. Aang's wind bubble thing is i think my favorite. that came out very nice.
