**Here I turned one of my favourite photos from the Hamburg production of the Phantom of the Opera with Colby Thomas as Christine/Amnita into my newest drawing.
I just loooooove Colby's smile, position and the atmosphere of the picture itself. However after about 10hours work, I spilt tea over the top of the picture which is why i never continued drawig - till last month. After weeks and months full of kind words from a good friend of mine, she persuaded me to get back to this picture
After Amnita was finished, i still was very irritaded because of the tea stain, which is another reason why i chose to include The Phantom himself in this picture in order to hide the stain.
Unfortunatelly I had no picture to get to know how all that black material could look whilst moving... so i had to think everything up and had to trust my imagination........ I think the velvet's ok although i'm not completely satisfied.. and I don't thinks his hands look human but hope you like it anyway
Colby Thomas and Ian Jon Bourg were that breathtakingly amazing together on stage that i still get goosebumps just thinking of the two together in this scene.
I hope that i somehow managed to capture at least a tiiiiiny little of these phenomenal emotions of the Phantom and his true love Christine performing together "Don Juan Triumphant"...

I just have to say, you are truly creative. I was staring at your piece and taken by it, especially by the presence of the phantom. When reading you utilized him to cover up the tea stain, I was surprised since something that made you disconnect with it makes it real because the stain makes it appear there is some light shining on him due to the brown hue. I was amazed by this. Great job.

Diese Zeichnung erinnert mich an... Ich weiss, an Lacrimosa, besonders Tilo Wolf . Lacrimosa weil die Stimmung ist so dramatisch wie Lacrimosa ist...

Du hast geschrieben dass mehr leute Deutsch lernen koonen... Siehst, ich lerne Deutsch als auch English und Italienisch. Das ware sehr langweilig lediglich Englisch zu schreiben. DeviantArt hilft Fremdsprachen zu beherrschen. Ich assoziere Deutsch mit Expressionismus und Vampires (Wenn Tilo Wolf singt er singt als ob er Vampir ware... Ich mochte sagen, dass er singt so gruselig , aber schon).

I would never have the patience for that. All the clothing in general is astounding here. I love the folds in Christine's sleeves and the highlights on the Phantom's cloak especially.

At [link] is pretty good definition of the costume;
The Phantom wears this costume after killing Piangi and taking his place as Don Juan. The costume is made up of several metres of a black, patterned and silky brocade fabric. I've seen both paisley, dots and "psycedelic" patterns being used. The sleeves often have an elastic band at the wrist, while the top of the cloak is gathered at a panel around the shoulders. On top, a big hood is added, and it drapes nicely around/over the Phantom's mask and face. The costume is floorlength, and it reveals only his hands (until he is unmasked by Christine).

Thanks ever soooo much!! the saches took forever which is why i didn't add the black stiching which actually belongs on every single sach (you can see it on the "Don Juan" drawing) but I just couldn't cope any longer ^^Β° The happier it makes me to hear, that they look well even without the stiching
