Not in a great mood at the moment. Had to just sort of flip out with the pens for a while, and when the pens wouldn't cooperate I just sort of bawled for another while. They were running out of ink and then the giant glob went right into the middle of it. Intentionally. I was pissed. But you know what? It is what it is. That's me. Right at this very hour.Sharpie pen, another stupid pen that wouldn't work, an ink bottle and a broken off pen cap (i broke it) that I dipped in said ink bottle and growled at...all on some heavy smooth bristol.
See....I can draw something other than horses and dragons. When I'm angry.

For some reason that "rawr" brought to mind a horrible song that played on the radio last year, some dance variety, that said nothing but "rawr" and every time I would hear it in a store or a restaurant or elsewhere I would start twitching and be on the verge of going completely mad.

I realized recently that I tend to populate my stories with characters that are mostly wandering regulars; those who fell a long long way, or those who never bothered to try to climb their way up or might now be trying to do so without any real idea quite how. Most of them share this fear of ending up a disappointment...to others or to themselves. All of em have secrets. And people seem to like reading about them anyway. Even though they might not like them if they met them. Sometimes I figure, I'm one of those. Just some wandering regular, not much more than an interesting read, and certainly not the sort requiring or asking for any proof of worth or sincerity from anyone else. The anonymity I've maintained isn't about a lack in yourself or anyone else, it's just a matter of privacy, security, and the human fear of being a disappointment.
