Howdy, I have a couple of questions for you, if you don't mind. I've visiting Japan as a tourist in a bit less of a month, mostly on a tour, but the day sort of on my own. While I was there on business in like 2007, I imagine things have changed a bit.
1. The tour is sticking us in a hotel in Shinagawa, right next to Shinagawa rail station, and we're on our own to get there from Narita airport. I'm wondering if you had some advice as to what the simplest way to get there might be - by simplest, I mean get on at Narita, get off at destination, hopefully with tickets bought in advance without much speaking in Japanese, because basically all I can do is ask for a bunch of sushi dishes...
2. 10 years ago, when I was there on someone else's time, there was a card one could purchase in the subway stations that was good on all of the subway lines (as opposed to commuter rail - which I guess is JR). The cards had a styled "M" character that looked like crown (see bad drawing below), and one would slip it into the turnstyle going in and oit and it would deduct some money from the card and maybe punch a hole in, notch it or both. I still have a couple of these left; at the time I guess it cost about 1000 yen (there is 1000) on the card. Are these still available?

I got myself into this stuff. I like it but this is harder than it looks. Drawing outside is fun. And I'm bad with architecture and buildings and so on - so why not try. I'm not that happy with the outcome but still - drawing something means progress.
Your drawings are so detailed - looks pretty neat to me. I wonder how it would look like if you sketched something so detailed...
Most fun thing is I wasn't alone. I visited an eveningschoolcours and we were 7 persons drawing in the street. Soooo amazing. Now I'm looking for a group to draw together. I like it, but not the way I expected it.

it's like fishing around in an old trash can outside a butcher shop knowing that there is a piece of nice candy in there somewhere... i refuse to punish myself with these superhero movies anymore.
thankfully the comics themselves are still pretty good... if you get the right ones...
