Soon after getting my first computer (a BBC model B) I tried to create digital images by copying a simple line drawing done on graph paper. Later, when I had a PC with Windows (3.11), I did the same using the “Paint” program and created small Bitmaps with jagged edges. When I enlarged these images the jaggedness was exaggerated so I had to smooth the pixels by hand. The results were quite pleasing on the fairly low resolution screen I had at the time. When I had access to the internet I discovered The Big KiSS Page which offered paper dolls for your computer. I created my own KiSS Dolls by copying pictures as I’m no good at drawing from scratch. Whilst browsing through a Photoshop magazine I stumbled across an article featuring Poser and thought that it would be an excellent tool for creating more KiSS Dolls. I acquired Poser 5, however my results were not very good and I never did use Poser to create a KiSS Doll. After a long break I went back to Poser (version 10 now) and also Daz Studio and some of the results can be seen here.# Comments
