I saw that! I've been watching your photographs on facebook. That looks so icky...but also kinda cool /maybe you should upload some of those here. I'm glad the drugs are working their magic. I showed some of my friends and they were aghast!

I've been okay. Just dealing with life and all that jazz. Boyfriend, school, sorority, and extra curricular are keeping me rather busy.

No kidding! Checked out the ramblings and the pics. As much as they are horrifying, I can't help but be fascinated with it as much as Dr. Bob. I'm glad that he gave you some additional medication, because it doesn't look like it's changed much at all. I want you to get better! Glad that you're feeling a bit less zombie-ish.

I'm so glad you feel better, my dear. You had me worried. I've never known anyone to get bitten by one (I guess I do now) but since moving to this area I've been warned against them time and again.

They are everywhere! And while I've always had a super healthy respect for them now I'm kinda paranoid. I've been so damn jumpy lately. Can't tell you how many times I've jerked away from shadows and pieces of fuzz, lol!

And thank you I've been feeling very drawn to bones as of late. Oh! And I was able to get the coyote teeth drilled. Now just to find pretty things to tie it with. I had no idea that they were hollow!

Allllll the vamp/were pieces. :3 Sunflower Seeds and Sins was a lovely piece. And I really liked a lot of the shorties you did. I'd love to see some of the stuff you are doing in that sculpture class too!

They are indeed! If it's a tooth from a young animal the end of the root will be completely open too. And because they are hollow they have a tendency to split if exposed to extreme temperatures. Finicky things, teeth.

I'll have to look for the vamp/were pieces, and if I can't find them----guess what that means? More vamp/were pieces. I'll be sure to take some photos of the Sculpture stuffs.

At the moment, I'm just looking at different bone types and different lengths. I'm sorta looking for perhaps something smaller to work with first. I've been looking on google and what not for possible ideas. There's this one bone piece that I found in that group you suggested---it's a cow leg (I think) that has been painted purple with stars and such that I'm really keen on.

Oh, shoot me a link if you don't mind, I'd like to see it. I've got loads of deer and coyote leg bones, few cow bones too but mostly weathered vertebrae from them.

I've got a project in mind that I think you might get a kick out of. In that new tv series, Shelock, there is a prop that I want to recreate. In the modern version of 221B they've got a cow skull lamp on the wall. It's black and has big shiny globes in the eyes and a light in the nose. Looks awesome and I want my own version, lol. Now I've just got to find the right skull. :3

If I find a link, I'll show you. Right now I've been interested in finding mostly clean scapula bones (I found a few cow ones that looked promising but I'm not sure where to buy, etc.)

I actually don't really have any big scapula at the moment, besides one from a calf and one from a grown cow that's really been chewed on. You are welcome to them if you want.

Will do! I'm pretty lamp-making stupid but I've found some good tutorials on the web that make it look pretty easy.
