holly holly holly holly holly holly holly holly milk maaan, you should have come doorknocking, it's FUNNY. You laugh at the people in huge homes who haven't got change for fifties (too rich to give to charity, effectively) and you laugh at yourself when you accidentally say unspeakably stupid things, or someone answers the door and you haven't finished swallowing a mouthful of skittles. The only problem is you start to sound like a recorded message after the first twenty homes .. so next year I propose a SATB group to ask for money in four part harmony. Possibly a drumroll from a snare drum on a shoulder strap when you ask them how much.

we didn't have change for a fifty.
when the umm.. ah.. bbc doorknockers came... and they didn't have all the change that was requested.. so the only reason we gave $15 and not $10 was because they didn't have the change.
Don't judge me.
And yes. SATB definately. Skittles sound like fun. For the amount of work I did today I should've come.

I ended up not being satisfied with the poem [Wood and Honey] in its original form. If you're interested, you can look @ the edit. I'm not sure if I'm satisfied with it or not, but it gives more of the "feel" that I was looking for.
