Currently an sjsu student attending your ani 55 and love it.
You explained that mafia picture today and it's great!
Also I think you're the only person (not just professor) I know who does an absolute, 100% genuine mickey mouse voice.
I can only do a pikachu which is so lame in comparison.

Hello,
I love your art, I'm actually an online student of yours ( I study through your videos ). I've been learning gesture and I'd like you to take a look at some of my drawings, so I know if I'm doing it right and not getting bad habits when it comes to figure drawing, please? I'd love that, I don't have art schools where I live so you are my only hope
The drawing is here [link]
Thank you

Just got the word that you're here at DA - Welcome! I've been studying your demos via Sheldon's Art Academy and spreading the word in my journal and comments, and through my scribd.com collection (i.e. See IT, Feel It, Trace It, Draw IT - 2nd Ed.)
You're a great artist and teacher! I would really like to chop off your head, rise up into the air, and absorb your life force. But I guess I'll have to keep studying and practicing, instead.

Hey! I bought the 3 IT books and video 1-19 from you some months back! Awesome! And you look so cool in this photo; previous photos I've seen of you elsewhere on the web were kinda old, though. I'm a big fan of yours, Hampton and Vilppu.

Oh wow, I never knew you had an account here. I just want to tell you that even though I've never met you in person, I consider you my primary teacher through your videos and your books, you've taught me so much. I wouldn't even be an artist today if it weren't for you, I was totally directionless before I came across your teachings. I don't mean to sound sappy but you really did change my life with your instructional videos. I don't know what else to write, please keep doing what you're doing!

What a pleasure it is to get this letter from you. I have 300 plus students a week, but its letters like this that make it all worth it. Keep going and let us know what we can do to continue to help you.
Edit: everyone at the academy is saying "damn you can draw dude!"

Thank you, that compliment really means a lot to me. I do have one suggestion for the instructional videos. I'd love to see a video on composing scenes and how to properly utilize linear perspective to get a sense of space. This also goes for putting characters together in that space and making it look believable. Whenever I try to do this, it always seems like the perspective is off slightly or the characters and objects I put in the scene are floating. Thanks again for the nice words.
