Sorry. I love the idea of it bit it's just too much of a hassle. Hours of trying to get things set up is just too much. :/

Thanks for the honest opinion. Though don't mind me asking - what possibly takes "hours" to set up? Almost everything is ready to use out of the box, setting a email password, changing the skin and rearranging stuff wouldn't even take more than 5 minutes.

It may seem that way to you as you designed it around what you use. Others, like myself are having to amend what you've created to work for them. That means changing everything, and you really can't begin to get started in 5 minutes.
I was attempting to use it as a home screen for a home theater. Rearranging is indeed simple but that's about the only thing that is unfortunately. The shortcuts for websites like Pandora, YouTube, etc. need site logos created by the user in order for them to blend well. By themselves, each of those takes more than 5 minutes. Figuring out the config files appears simple on the surface, but some of them I swear just don't work. I configure one link and it works perfect. "Great, this will be simple", I think. But the other links just won't work. I've gone back doubling and triple and quadruple checked everything to make sure I'm doing it the same way as the first. I've tried what seems like dozens of possibilities, but again, no dice. Want to link to apps like iTunes, Firefox, Newsleecher, etc? Again, I have to create the logos. After doing so, i can't get some of the icons to appear in the boxes, though they have been done exactly the same as other that work.
The custom dating does not appear to work either. The config file required editing for the various web suffixes out there such .net/.org/.edu...
Again, this is a great looking app and I'd love to use it, but it just has too many 'kinks' for me.

You know there is a Panel creator with drag&drop interface which would have solved your problems.

My pleasure. I'm giving up my multi-monitors in a few weeks for a 30" and am admittedly already on the prowl for potential wallpaper mates.
You've got a excellent gallery; keep it up.

Awesome! What 30" are you getting?
Hopefully, I'll be able to make decent WP's for that size monitor too!
Cheers!

I'm not really sure yet; still shopping around.
I have three 19" Dell LCDs right and it'll be a tough transition down to one monitor, but I don't need all this landscape anymore (read: "e-penis"). The Dells have done me right for several years so I'm leaning in the direction of another, but I'm open to whatever really.

I just thought your gallery was hilarious, but after having you on watch for 1 day, you submitted something like 80+/- deviations so I removed you. That's just too much for me to sift through when I come online.

You do understand that was unusual, and like never to happen again

Hi there. Listen, would a Photography section do for my collage?
Please, I'm really proud with the way how my collage turned out. And please, don't act like a jerk to me.

I'm not sure what in my profile would lead you to believe that I'm a "jerk" but whatev...
The multi-display category is for wallpapers that span multiple monitors, which yours does not. Proper resolutions for this category are:
1280x480, 1600x600, 2048x768, 2304x864, 2560x960, 2560x1024, 3200x1200, 4096x1536
If you click on the 'Edit deviation' link, you will able to change the section in which the wallpaper is listed. Seeing as there are almost no photographs in the collage, perhaps "Tradition Art" would be best.
