See, the problem is that I have the book all lain out as it would appear in printing, but not in manuscript format. I'd hate to have to convert it.

in regards to that, alot of publishers wont change the format, they basically in a sense transpose it to print, i left mine as is, got it edited for grammar and as you saw looks good, and thats how i kept it, just like how i wrote it in my journal/book on paper...so you shouldn't worry about it, submit a manuscript and they'll tell you wether they'll go forward with it or not..get it out there,enter contests ( look at google and you'll find tons ) and somebody will buzz yah back...

that's the thing, I don't have it in Manuscript format, it's all formatted and 5"x5.5"

ohh...do you have it saved on/in word? if so you can submit it that way..electronically...i really don't think it'll be a problem since they convert it to the book size for yah, and they have you preview/review it prior to being sent to print...best thing to do is to just send it off, if they like it, they'll tkae care of the rest, if not, then off to the next publisher...
