I hated the ending :/
the only part i liked was the homestead ending but the game was great.

I enjoyed the game immensely but I almost wished that Desmond didn't listen to Juno. Because you literally don't know the threat it will 'cause. Connor's ending was almost too sad in my opinion, yeah okay the Homestead is happy but what about him?

I'd like to see more of Connor, if only so we can get some indication that things got better for him eventually. As is, he's unable to save his mother and just about has her die in front of him, he gets jailed and almost hanged, he's forced to kill the guy who's essentially his brother, the closest thing he has to a father figure dies, he has to kill his real father, his quest for revenge ends up being largely misplaced, the people he fought to help turn out to be largely indifferent towards his cause, he suffers through all kinds of hatred, racism, deceit and violence, and, ultimately, he was doing all this with the belief that it would all work towards helping his people keep their sacred land, that some ancient spiritual benefactor was on their side -- and it turned out that she just wanted him to leave a key around for her own sake while his people up and abandoned their home without him even being told.

In short, I feel sorry for the guy.

same here. his suffering is at pair with altairs imo but all is not lost. He has a home to call his own, he's in charge of the assassins and he does have a shot at a otping that isn't aveline. I'm also reading rumors that there will be an ac4 (?) I'm hoping they mean ac3 -extended. where they might bring back Desmond so idk.

What was your reaction to the ending of the 3rd memory? I was screaming WHAT?! for 10 mins and almost dropped my controller lol.

Yeah, when you think about it; the only person that had a decent childhood was Ezio. *mumble*luckybastard*mumble*

Okay, this is super ironic. Because I said before that I wouldn't be making any jumps until I played both games. Which I have and I now I find myself shipping Connor/Aveline! I really couldn't help it after Sequence 8 of her game. I was like, I-I think I actually like them. Not to mention the guy that does take an interest in Aveline is very feminine and can't do anything. He's extremely dis-likeable, I'm so glad she rejected him too. So yeah, I guess you could say I ate my own words, but I did say that I wasn't sure whether I'd like it or not; but now I do.

As for the sequel, I read about it! They're wondering if people would be excited for co-op. Honestly I wouldn't be happy about getting another AC game so fast unless if the protagonist is still Connor. If they start with a new character I'd be disappointed. AC:III isn't even a month old yet and they're stirring a new pot. It would seem like they don't care to me. If they do, do Coop...I hope Aveline's in it. After playing Liberation, I find her extremely likeable.

I don't mind Connor/Deborah, but it lacks that spark I found in Connerline.

I don't mind connorline but i can't say it's my otping anymore, it doesn't see it being practical and Connor's not to interested in relationship till about the end of the game now that he really has nothing to do till a new threat arises. but what would really motivate Connor into jumping into another war? Connor did everything to keep his peoples land safe.... they are gone, his mentor is gone he's not really on good terms with washington and with the dlc coming out soon it will make it worse...

I'm disappointed they didn't put co-op in AC3, i was looking forward to it and they better reuse Connor but then again, I don't know what plot they have in mind? but I don't see them using another ancestor so soon.

Ubisoft has a habit of releasing games every year and since this new game "is right in the making" where AC3 started 3 years ago.... it might be very disappointed should the rush into it but again. i just don't know. I look forward to hearing more about it.

A simple way to get Connor all amped up again is actually really simple, just have some people attack the Homestead and it's revenge all over again. (Then again, I'm just ripping that from Brotherhood, but you never know with Ubisoft.)

Well there was a scene with Marquis de La Fayette where he promises Connor that he would take him to France one day. In fact historically he's one of the leaders of the National Guard during the French Revolution, after being Major General under George Washington. They could put him in the chaos of that revolution, as well. It's really open to them if they decide to take that route. And I could really see the co-op working out.

I don't really think it matters whether Connor likes George Washington or not, AC:III did a really good job at neutralizing both sides and not taking favor towards anything, not even the natives. La Fayette, himself as a persona didn't per say agree with a lot of Washingtons ideals and yet he was one of his best men. DLC is pretty much an AU story, we know it's putting George in a bad light but we have yet to say how bad.

Assassins Creed is becoming like Call of Duty where a new game comes out every year, and it doesn't help how they're always released so close to each other. XD I can deal with a few more years of no AC if they bring a new protagonist. If they want to do one next year, it has to be Connor, or else. I trust Ubisoft to make me a good game though, there's literally 400 people or more working on a game each release.
