# About me
I find both painting and photography to be unique, but photography has taken my interest greatly. I am now looking for more exposure in photography. This year I have learned more about the techniques used in photography and have been distinguishing life from an inimitable perspective.I always have had a huge interest in nature. I like to compare it to other categories that inhabit the world of photography. I do not loathe other categories; conversely, I am still interpreting and discovering the different types of photography such as people & portraits, macro, urban & rural, etc.

Hey there! I tried to respond to a super old conversation we had back in March, but the thread was closed. I felt bad taking so long since I've been off dA since then, but I still wanted to respond. Here's your response for reference, and then my belated comment back!

I received my first DSRL 6 years ago, and that's when I started to like photography. Can't leave my camera down, always go out and shoot whatever's out there.Β
Currently in college, but would love to pursue photography as a career. We'll see.Β

That's awesome and I really hope you do pursue photography as a degree if it's something you deeply enjoy. Seeing as how you said you can't put it down, that tells me you must really enjoy it anyway, so that's 3/4's the battle already! I wish we had DSRLs attached to our eyes and could just mentally capture the moments we see that we don't have a camera around to help with.
Ahh, I'm not sure? I'm a really really late bloomer in the drawing field, hence all of my stuff being underdeveloped and with a long road ahead to improve. I think I started to get into digital doodles when my late-grandad surprised me with a refurbished tablet he saw advertised for sale in the local newspaper about 7 (?) years ago. Maybe one of these days I'll really hunker down and create a proper drawing study schedule to practice everyday! Thank you though! : ] "

Oh hi there! I haven't been into digital drawings, always photography. But I've been taking a lot of conceptual photography lately, which made it look akin to Digital drawings. What college do you go to?Β

At the time of that message, I was in a small college focusing on music, but now I'm in a larger college focusing on computer programming. Are you enrolled in college currently? If so: What are your photography classes like? I'd imagine the pressure mounts fairly high in those.Β

I'm currently at SAIC (Art Institute of Chicago), and I'm taking a couple of classes, major in photography and minoring in Visual Communication and Film/Video. Currently, I'm in a 2000 level photography class. Learning a lot, but slightly challenging.Β
