I think what helped me was when I stopped worrying about what the art looks like and just let it flow.
I learnt that from Bob Ross. He would say "There are no mistakes. Just happy accidents." ^-^

Well, let me tell you! You Can draw like this. Anyone can! You just gotta believe in yourself. No I mean it.
Bob Ross says don't worry about what it looks like. Just put lines on canvas and have it flow.

It is something that took me a long time to accept. I always wanted to control the art, but you gotta let it take a life of its own! XD

They're little badges that deviants can give to one another. It's usually traded for fun, though there will be jerks out there who try to get llamas in exchange for money. 

However if you click on the badges list, there might people willing to trade llamas for points, and you'll get a deviantArt point for just giving them a llama! :0

They don't really do anything outside of being an aesthetic thing for your page. The more you the collect and have, the llama's appearance will change and evolve with each specific milestone.
