i have had lots of practice and pay close attention to detail.

some tips for collage artists:

the way you angle the razor edge when you cut: angle it inward to bevel the edge so the white thickness of the paper doesn't show. if it does, use a colored ink to disguise it.

have lots of papers to choose from already cut out so you can match the colors well.

use the least amount of glue necessary, wipe up the excess with a rag, and use a roll of duct tape like you would a rolling pin to get rid of wrinkles before it dries.

the glue I use is called Mod Podge.
