Interests
A keen amateur photographer, my interests influence my work, paintings sculptures and tattoos. And am proficient in Photoshop cs5, power director and a number of video editing and capture software, the office suite, and a few of the simpler programing languages such as HTML, and CSS with the hope of learning more when needed. I visit places of historical and archaeological interest around England, fossil hunting in Folkestone, and now I live in Cornwall I have taken the opportunity to visit places such as wheals coats with my dogs and cameras. I enjoy post excavation analysis of archaeological sites including attending events and interested in reconstructive archaeology including lessons in flint knapping. I try to grow vegetables to feed some of my animals and family although as I have recently moved in to a flat this has been difficult, I am looking forward to having a small garden again in the future. Attending exhibitions, particular favourites: Hidden Banksy event in London, the Tutankhamen exhibition, and the display on Neolithic Art carved in to bone at the British Museum. Interest in jewellery and body adornment has led to a fascination in the practices of other cultures, scarification from Africa, the Mayan jewellery. Also learning Japanese, Latin and would like to learn Finnish and ancient Egyptian as I have a great interest in their cultural myths and legends. Hobbies include Archery and Costume Making. Reading Pratchett, Canavan, Lovecraft and graphic novels. I am a huge fan of the work of David Attenborough, Professor Mary Beard and Dr Alice Roberts, as I enjoy informative documentaries. I keep a number of tarantula sp. I hope to start breeding projects with. I am a member of the British arachnology society.
