Oh thats a story...but I suppose I should start by stating that I am a huge MegaMan fan, hell I found a few things that I liked in the franchises weaker titles like Megaman ZX. Omegaman (or rather Arceaus Joule) is my own Megaman OC that I made when Megaman Battle Network 5 was around, the "255" has had numerous meanings over the years, ranging from "255th product of the OMEGA super soldier project" to "version 2.55" (depending on the series). As for the name itself well, when I was making him the thought crossed my mind of "what's one above 'mega'?", Omega was the first thing that popped in my head, but I hesitated; I didn't want that name without knowing what it means. "Omega" is the last letter in the Greek alphabet and it means "the last", so the name "Omegaman" to me means "the final Megaman", I fell in love with it and I've even make a few one liners for him right then and there, even going so far as to make a short little poem for him. "When the red mist clears, and the bodies lie as boards across the battle field, I will be the last one standing." if I recall correctly.
