Well, I think they will keep making new seasons & full-lenght movies till the toys will be selling, so maybe we'll see something like evolution of MLP:FiM during the time, like Star Trek or, eh, uh, - like Star Trek. I think ponies, in this or another form, are staying with us for a looong time.

LOL like Star Trek...yea they made so many versions of that show turning it into a huge franchise.
I have to admit I still like Star Trek. Though, as long as they keep the original characters the same and not change them.
That's just me. I still like the original Star Trek and The next generation oh and deep space 9.
So yea that would be nice if they do try to keep the MLP series going. I'm curious as to how they will do that. XDD
I heard that they are going to come out with another movie?

Well, we have this teen-oriented Equestria Girls franchise, and also there is some big animation movie in production now, featuring Sia & Emily Blunt, if I'm not mistaken, as some of the background characters. I'm not sure if it will be too different than a usual show episode, and I can't say if I'm too happy about it. I'd like to see it in a different visual style, maybe traditional 2D hand-drawn, Disney-style animation, and with some dramatic & deep storyline, - but that's just what I'd be happy to see on a big screen with our favorite ponies. Frankly speaking, I miss 90's Disney and Dreamworks animation films, they were damn cool. Mulan, Beauty & The Beast, Tarzan, you've got my idea.

Heh. I'm thinking how would Twilight Sparkle or Fluttershy would look if someone would drew it in Disney animation films style. I bet it would be way too furry-ish. :D (Big Grin) :) (Smile)

I don't really know much about Emily Blunt but featuring Sia? That's Cool. So it is in Production...I wonder what...no, I wonder how big they will make it. It's not going to be like a huge production movie the type that hits the theatres, is it?
yea, the old animation is being missed by me as well. Not to long ago I watched Beauty and the Beast. XD I can't believe that I still remember the songs xD
I'm no up for Furry-ish style, though, I'm curious to see Disney's style and how they would translate MLP into it's traditional look and writing style. As long as they keep their personalities and all I'll be a happy camper. Now, Disney is pretty good with storylines so I am up for that as well. I can see that happening. XD
Btw, What Studio is making this MLP?

Hasbro Studios, Allspark Studios and DHS Media, and distributor is Lionsgate Pictures. Release is planned on October 6, 2017.
