# About me
I write a lot, or at least I'm supposed to. I get distracted easily, mainly by the internet. I like people. I love that everyone has a story to tell and I love hearing them. I love travel, culture and experience. I hate that I don't have any of the above. I like friendliness. I love random strangers pulling you out of dire straights when the don't have to, and I love kind words. I love community spirit and coming together. I love meeting new people. I love familiar faces. I love friends, family, acquaintances and relationships. I love real characters. Characters of any sort. I love the difference in opinion on personal quality of life. I love to listen and absorb. A lot fascinates me.# Comments

No worries, they were really beautiful pieces, really opened up the experiences of what it's like to be blind and how you experience the world, I really dig that. Although I am sighted myself, my vision is not 20/20, it's pretty awful without my glasses in fact, so I understand some of it to a minor degree, the blurs of colour, mistaking inanimate objects for people etc. You make it sound so beautiful though.

There are plenty more where that came from, though blindness is less central and more embedded in them. As I adjust to vision loss, I alternate in thinking what I see is beautiful and not so much, but it really is a big part of me andΒ of my art, so I embrace it.

of course! you totally deserved it! Β
I work at Barnes&Nobles as a children's lead, and I have to say, if you expand it a little more, add some verses, that poem, "Let Your Daughter Be a Pirate" could easily become a children's book <3 I think a publish would fall in love with it. Just saying :3 it'd be one I'd love to re-read over and over again for Storytime at work! It has just the right amount of nostalgia as well as inspiration. Twas one of the best DD's I've read in a long time. Your are very talented!

This is honestly a fantastic idea. I have been thinking for a while about illustrating the piece and selling it as a print, ideal for the bedroom walls of little girls, I imagine, but I hadn't considered making it into a children's book. I think I might actually try both, because as much as I love the children's book idea (which is a lot, I've never written a children's book before and I love them, so realising I've done so accidentally is amazing) I also don't see any reason why I can't also do the print idea, because people may want one or the other. Thank you so very, very much for this idea, I'll keep you posted as it progresses

that's really neat. I like the print idea too! As far as publishing, its not as daunting as it might seem. You don't even have to have artwork for it. If an editor likes it and greenlights it, they will handle the art. Its the story they are looking for, matching an artist to the work is the easy part. You should totally go for it, see what happens.

Well, I'm lucky enough to live with an artist/illustrator. We're already working on a comic book together, and he has written and illustrated his own children's book in the past, despite never having tried to publish it, so I think this might be another project we can tackle together.

Is there anyway of doing the membership form without it being in my gallery? I have it organised pretty specifically and it is just for actual work.
