He is so sexy and sweet in the manga. I think he just seems cold hearted and mean in the anime. I've drawn him more recently! I guess I should add to the Sasame collection on DeviantArt. *new goal!*

While I like Sasame with Mawata, I also kind of like him with Himeno because he sincerely cared about her. The more times I read that manga, the more I think he may actually be in love with Himeno. (Though it seems like she has her sights on Hayate!)

I watched the anime first so maybe I'm biased, but I like him equally both ways. In the anime he was still very nice (for the most part) and wise, he was just... angsty? He was a bit more reserved and sad, in my opinion, but aside from what he did while with Takako, I never thought of him as mean. Oh, you've drawn him? I will have to go look. <3 

I think he definitely cares about her a lot but I always assumed most of his hitting on her was a joke. I can definitely understand interpreting it the other way though!

You can probably tell that I read the manga first, then! XD I have a bias too. It probably doesn't help that Kei in the manga was my FAVORITE character. XDDD
