Yeah like maybe you might still be looking around for a new computer to. Anyways I’m quite a clever person with technical things like this like it might just be the power supply in your computer that’s died as the capacitors in those things only last so long before they fail.

Yeah like try to check the capacitors with a multimeter as that way you'll see if they are dead or getting weak! Plus the capacitors would probably be bulged on the top if they had failed or were about to die! Anyways the power supply should work just fine once you replace those capacitors!

Plus when you replace the capacitors make sure the new capacitors have the exact same voltage ratings as the old ones otherwise you could have some real electrical problems and you could potentially short the power supply!

Plus also that includes putting the new capacitors in the right direction so you put them in with negative in the negative marking on the board. Otherwise the capacitors literally will explode no matter what if you power on the power supply and the capacitors have been put in the wrong direction!
