I was wondering, do you ever think of how you intend for a character's story to end?
In particularly, I was thinking of Kimlee and his story that always shows up in some form or another in his RPs, and wondered if you had a way you it to end someday. Not asking what it is, but I was just thinking about some of my characters and how I would want their stories to end.
Thought it might be an interesting thing to discuss for a tad if you had the inclination

In his case I did have plans for the ending of his story. However it didn't involve him reclaiming his throne. Kimlee's story was always about humility in one form or another.

Interesting.. I wouldn't have guessed that at first glance.
My theory for how I would continue it if Thuinfe and Kimlee were teamed up buddy-cop style in that anti-Rushon thread, a story about how as the baddies of the story kept getting stronger, Thuinfe would fall behind in power compared to Kimlee. Had an idea for a scene where the organization tried to convince Kimlee to take a new partner more befitting his status as an elite special ability user, but Kimlee turned them down, preferring to stay a normal agent.
Wasn't really sure where to go from there, or if that would be in character Kimlee.
Emotionally, however, on Thuinfe's parts, it was about him having to come to grips with how a younger agent was surpassing him and the feeling of uselessness. He was always used to being a high flying guy who acted cooler that was logical, and being unable to do so was forcing him to take a look at who he was under that.
Wasn't sure where to go from there either. Giving him powers to bring him back in the fray felt too much like a comic-book cop-out.

It would really depend on how Kimlee progressed. If he changed little he would have snapped up the chance for fame and influence. It's difficult to say as, even though I knew how Kimlee's backstory ended, I didn't exactly know how it got there.
It's difficult sometimes because you put yourself in a character position you don't understand, and you've yet to fully have the character act as they would. A literary need for 'balance' and 'closure' sometimes seeps in, and it blocks your way.
As of late I try more to let chips fall where they may. Naturally how Thuinfe progressed from there depends on what he discovered of himself. If that involved him wanting to drop out as an agent altogether in favor of redirecting his talents, then so be it.
Naturally an rp would fail here immediately.

Fail at him dropping out? Mmm... I think not always, it depends on the RP
Some of my good characters on RPs have been characters who spent almost the entirety of their time being butlers and assistants and electricians and such.

What was your outlook for busier rps like DaCre?

For a busier RP like DaCre? Well, there were some characters who were never really "with it" as far as power level went, but they still added to the story. I don't think Echo landed an attack against anything controlled by the TM Cold, ever. She might as well have not had powers, but she was still there the whole way through and a meaningful character that got too little credit and time in the light.
However, yeah, I would say it works less well for busy "apocalypse" focused threads. But busy threads that have a lot of non-combat interactions it works fine for.
It also works pretty well in a 1 on 2 sense where you play the assistant to the time lord, so to speak, while the GM has stuff show up occasionally to keep things rolling.

Yes, your ligts stay with the character. So a new character would have their own ligt count.

Do I just send in a new application and delete the old character's? Or would I talk to someone about it first?

All you need to do is go to your old app(just the app), and look at the featured groups on the right side of the browser. If you hover over group name a small pencil icon will appear. Click it and you'll have the option to remove it from the group.
After that you just submit your new app the same you did the first.
