the lens i was using was canon mpe-65mm 1-5X macro lens costing 800 pound.

Just read about your stuff. Damn this credit crunch. Its not affecting me too much yet, because I'm still in secondary school at the moment, but I don't think I'll be able to get a place to stay when I decide to move for uni. That is, if I can afford to go. Kinda makes me glad my parents are on low income so we can get benefit on that department.
