I studied Philosophy in my college years, my Professor was Francis Schwaunauer who wrote the College Press Book "Truth Is A Neighborhood With Nothing In Between " ...his influence so great on my perception, that I went into Monastic Theism, and studied for the Vicarage for close to 8 yrs

Very impressive I must say. Must I conclude that your a monk now ? I never studied phylosophy, but it's my only
merit for life. Always been surching and surching without almost no relief. Now find the last (?) truth in the work of Arthur Schopenhauer (german), the 'truth' is hard...
Best that there goes a lifetime over to understand...
My opinion is that life is complete nonsens - without, loving someone and be loved by this person.
Friendly greets, Luc.
ps: Please excuse me for my poor english.

I was actually a Monk yes !..It was part of the journey that I undertook in this life to get me from the crazed youth and young adulthood to the mid life crisis and then beyond LOL. I no longer have a role in the Church, but did , for quite some time. These days, I am contemplative, at my home, photography and computer graphics , guitar and bicycling keep me active
Re: any "TRUTH" as almost all the greats agreed from Plato to >>> Descartes Hegel Satre , etc their is no "CASE" with-out some "TRUTH"

interesting you should mention that; when setting up that pic I had in mind the classical WWII portrait pictures. too many of my comrades had the standard army mug-shot. I had recently read Kurkowski's (german) Infantry Aces, and most of those guys had a very dynamic portrait headshot; most all of the ID book and regular portrait pictures from that era are much more engaging than what we've got today, so I was going for that look and feel
