A new feature has been launched that's designed to make interacting with others even easier than before! Deviant & Art Mentions are a highly requested feature that send notifications to your Message Center when someone mentions you or your work in a public location on site.
How It Works
When another deviant uses the :dev: or :icon: codes to mention you, or includes one of your deviations in a comment or Journal, a message will appear in the new Mentions section of the Message Center letting you know, and linking you to the location.
These messages are designed to help engagement between deviants, as well as to help further conversation on deviantART, making it easier than before to

Hey Krissi I am doing pretty good and like the new Media. I am using a lot more Emoticons with Add Media than I ever added with having to grab one Emoticon or remember the name and put the colons in . I also like the variety though I do miss riding the Ostrich that was one of my favorites.

There were so many Emotes at the beginning of the Test I must have gotten your name mixed up with another, I am sorry about that. Someone made an Emoticon with an Ostrich.
