the rush, join the rush for riches
beyond your wildest dreams
left dangling over the abysmal
dismay, despair, disappointment
of the just-out-of-reach and
you-seriously-believed us

Affinity meets ivory tectonics in
the depths of a glacial southern
tundra, winds howling, wolves
howling the chorus of the lonely
in an equally desolate wasteland,
anxiety driven hearts beating in
steady unison; it wonβt hurt if
you pretend itβs not there and it
wonβt draw grief if you pretend
you donβt care, and these teeth
continue gnawing at vulnerability
