If someone asks for a sketch before they pay, that way they know if you can draw their character correctly in the first place, you have absolutely no right to bash them for that.
It's their money.
They supply the cash, you supply the service.
That's a duty as an artist - to be flexible - and if you're an artist who, for whatever reason doesn't do that, then that's fine, they will spend their money else where, and you will continue your service with other clients.
-Don't get butt-hurt and call them out on another forum calling them a scammer. You have absolutely no right and no reason for that.
Disappointing to have seen this. It's unneeded drama.

I didn't bash anyone, nor did I call that person a scammer. I said 'potential', and asked for proof that he/she wasn't. I was actually really lenient. And I did send a sketch before he/she paid. As I always do, but he/she claimed to have not received it despite opening up the note that has the link to the sketch in it. Surely other people can understand that it looks a bit suspicious?
