I was in sheridan, graduated on 2008 from illustration sadly I am now in Indonesia since I couldn't get my greencard :I

Perhaps I'll check out void again, its been a while since I've even been to the site so it would be interesting to see how things have changed.

Sucks about the green card, I knew a couple people who had immigration issues after school.

I actually moved out to BC after graduating and am technically unemployed (freelancing) but thank you for the compliment. Gonna make some comics and try my best to never get a job hehe.

Did the illustration program set you up well to find work?

pretty much, we were taught contracts and business course, some people hated it because it's too business like but in this day and age, that kinda shit is invaluable! Also, amazing classmates becomes colleagues and we often exchanged jobs whenever the others are busy. Alas, now I'm in indo I can't do that anymore but it was a good deal :) (Smile)

Yeah I think I missed out on the whole colleagues thing haha. I've heard tell of this "networking" business among freelancers but alas it is not one of my stronger points. Anyway, I hope all is well in indonesia, must have been a drag to have to figure out a new job market after being educated and set up for this one.
