hey. i'm deleting this old account, but before i do, i'll reply to your kind message.
i'm at meredith college right now, i'll be a sophmore next year, and i'm studying biology so hopefully one day i'll become a doctor. this school actually sucks, alas, it's an all girls school there is alot of estrogen floating around. but i have an awesome boyfriend who goes to state, so no complaints in that department persay. i just quit a waitressing job which sucked major balls and my feet killed me every night. hopefully i'll get to intern in a hospital soon. this summer i'm going to take chem in summer school for 6 weeks, and then work at a camp in brevard for the next 6 weeks. perhaps i'll even head out to LA to see my good friend Boo. aren't you excited about college? i hope you get to go where you want.
it's been ages since i knew you, back when we were lower classmen. so much has changed, some for the worse, and the better. i've bumped into amelia a couple of times, not so much cat and i communicated with megan on fb recently.

oh, and i'll be going to MICA next year and rooming with my boy. i'm thinking of transfering to RISD after freshman year because RISD has the better illustration program and better job-placement prospects.

yeah, i think i'm going to mica. at least for one year. we'll see about transfering after a year. i already know i won't want to transfer after having zac for a roommate for a year. but i've decided i have to apply for transfer to risd just to see if i'd be good enough to transfer. how about you?

yeah i am a senior, but i'm probably not going to mica cuz they didn't give me much financial aid.
i only got 2 $20,000 scholarships, but over 4 yrs that's very little.
my financial aid packet was about $15,000 a year, which only covers about half of the tuition

OM -- I loved that! That's a great story... I might use one of those prompts. You sure you don't remember anymore of them?
Anyway, I asked why because I found this dead club [~thatwritinglark ] a while back - it was for writers - and it had this old, old writing challenge in its frontpage journal. It was this:
1. Get a dictionary.
2. Flip it open and find a word at random.
3. Write down its definition.
4. Flip to another page and find a new word.
5. Write down the WORD at the top of the definition you found beforehand.
6. Repeat this process at least five times.
7. Write a short prose piece or poem (no more than 836 words) which uses ALL the newly-defined words you've generated and submit it alongside your remixed dictionary.
8. Send me the results in a note.
I haven't done it yet but... doesn't it sound like alot of fun?

sweet. i'm not sure if i'm going, but there's a pretty good chance of it. yeah, i got a lot of people telling me i had an interesting body to draw. honestly, i'm really interested in extreme body types, too. really skinny and really big people seem like they are a lot of fun to draw!
