# About me
I was born in New Jersey but have lived in New Zealand for the past eight years.I first began oil painting as a pre-teen after knocking on the door of a local artist and asking to be her apprentice. I learned a huge amount in this period but stopped painting after high school.
Following a motor bike accident I began to paint again. Mysteriously, though I hadn't painted for over a decade, my skills seemed to have improved! And they improved more, the more time I spent. I have been painting for nearly 7 years now.
