Ten years since you've been gone. You were taken from this world too soon. However you were too pure for it. I hope you are safe and happy in that beautiful world in the After World. My only regret is learning about your amazing abilities too late.

Recently found "Lovers on a Bridge" from a certain Chinese traditional music channel on Youtube, it was for a song titled "Trail of the Angels" inΒ a channel named "TaiGekTou" if I recall correctly.Β
I was so mesmerised and I ended up looking for this page through credits mentioned there.
I just want to let hakubaikou's relatives and other people reading this that I'm really grateful for the legacy hakubaikou had left behind.Β Whenever I play "Trail of the Angels" with my dizi, I always imagine "Lovers on a Bridge" in my mind and it's almost certain that I'd cry. A lot.

my favorite work of yours was lovers on the bridge. such exquisite paint work. your image is used on a youtube music video of my favorite chinese flute instrumental. I thought about you today and wanted to visit your art. I was always moved by your work. It is special...it evoked something beautiful and far away with a touch of sadness. It is haunting to me the foreboding quality of some of the final pieces you created. There is some kind of dark magic at work that cannot be explained. It saddens me you did not have more time to create. Lovers on the bridge is a masterpiece to me and one I revisit from time to time to marvel at. I send my thoughts to your family and will not forget your art and life.

I just learned about you on youtube, a song posted by TaiGekYou as some may have mentioned... I teared as I listened to the music and read your sisters' final update on your behalf. I really wish I could have had the chance to meet you... but you will forever live on, both in your art, and in everyone's hearts you have touched with your art.
