Two days ago I received an email alert from one of those birthday calendar sites. It reminded me that today would have been your 28th birthday. I feel a sharp pang every time that alert arrives, and for 3 years now, without fail, I wonder whether to delete the service. To stop that pang. But Tammy, your biggest lesson was to not let the bad things bring you down; you truly lived that lesson well and I want to honour her memory. I still miss you every day, Tammy, but today I wish you happy birthday. Make a wish upon a star near you instead of candles, perhaps that some day we you left behind can find the peace you deservedly have.

Hey Tammy ... Was thinking about you a lot, I still do every day, but soon it will be one year since you had to leave us, so I'm thinking about you that little bit more heh ... I think it was one year and one week ago that I last saw you, on the beach, at that BBQ. It feels like so much longer than that, Tam. Saying this here is useless, and it's purely selfish, but I needed a way to feel like I could talk to you again because is so very difficult without you. I miss you so much!
